Gelatin Egg

Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon gelatin*
  • 1 tablespoon lukewarm water
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl mix together the gelatin and 1 tablespoon of lukewarm water.
  2. Add hot (but not boiling) water to the mixture and whisk vigorously.
  3. Use right away.
Notes
*Gelatin egg is usually prepared with 1 tablespoon of gelatin, but I reduced its amount to 1 teaspoon, which is enough to make plantain bread crispy.
