“This book is a beauty”! This was my first thought as I flipped though the Healing Eats Cookbook. Written by my friend Kate, the blogger behind Healing Family Eats, this elegant cookbook features 25 delicious recipes, but don’t get fooled by its size! For a relatively small book it is very versatile and includes several topics, such as healing protocols, healing foods, equipment and so on. Kate even gives you advice on the subject of eating! As crazy as it may sound, many people still overlook some of the basic principles of healthy eating and Kate draws attention to these principles via her book.
Healing Eats cookbook is designed in a way that allows people following different diets to navigate it with ease. Whether you are on a GAPS diet, FODMAP, Whole30 or a specific carbohydrate diet, you won’t feel lost or confused! Another feature that I like is that Kate lists recipes into healing sections: healing bowls, dishes, plates and so on. And, last but not least, Kate’s food photography alone makes this book worthwhile!
