I scream, you scream, we all scream for NICE cream!
Indeed, who doesn’t like ice cream, especially when the sun is shining and the weather is heating up? Many people opt for this refreshing dessert during summertime. However, ice cream available in most grocery stores (and across many countries) is not an option for folks with compromised immunity, because of dairy, refined sugars, stabilizers and other chemicals. Thankfully, ice cream (this includes sorbet and frozen yogurt) can be made “good-for-you” and provide your body with much needed nutrients, and all that while you are enjoying the refreshing treat!
As an ice cream “addict”, who suffers from multiple food sensitivities, I came up with a few strategies to make my ices as healthy as possible, so that they could be enjoyed daily! Would you like to learn more about my allergen-free approach to ices? I’ve written a guest post about it! Head over to thepaleomom’s website to find out about ingredients and techniques I use in my AIP ice cream making.
🌞Happy summer!🍦
